We are very proud to partner with UNICEF on important and impactful media projects in the Middle East and North Africa.
Here are a few highlights:
UNICEF Lebanon
Interactive
Imagine a School – We co-produced an interactive documentary with UNICEF Lebanon looking at the lives of school-age Syrian refugee children. #ImagineaSchool gives viewers an in-depth look at the barriers Syrian refugee children face in their quest for an education. Here’s a behind the scenes look at what it took for us to create this project.
Photography
Country programs – We took photographs and shot video for UNICEF Lebanon, highlighting their health, social, education and development programs aiding Syrian refugees in Lebanon.

- A daughter from the Ayyash family brings back water from a neighbor’s tank, at an IS near Zahle, Lebanon, January 13, 2016. The Ayyash family has seven children, and they get the water from the neighbor’s tank. Each tent should have a tank, but because they are still new in the camp, they still did not get theirs. The eldest girls fill the water in the bucket from the neighbors and walk with it to their tent. They heat the water on the heater. They take a shower each 10 days as they are afraid of getting sick due to the cold. (Photo Credit/Tara Todras-Whitehill for UNICEF)

UNICEF Iraq
Video
What would you hold onto if you were forced to flee home? – We created a video for UNICEF Iraq to help raise awareness about internally displaced men, women and children. Conflict has driven over 3.3 million Iraqis from their homes. We brought together internally displaced family members and asked what they remember and miss most about their homes.
UNICEF Syria
Animated videos
We worked with UNICEF Syria to produce a series of videos that highlights the rights of all children as articulated in the UN’s Convention on the Rights of the Child. The series tells the stories of real children as they describe the moments in their lives when their rights were infringed upon, and helps define what adults can do to help protect these rights. Here are a few:

Animated videos, radio spots and banners
Polio vaccination campaign – We helped UNICEF Libya promote their polio vaccination campaign in order to encourage families to vaccinate their children. We created a series of fun animated videos and banners for television, social media and radio in an effort to help reach Libyans and positively impact their lives.
